Talk about a blast from the past. We never have met personally, however, back in my days growing up in Portland and during my high school years, we would chat online and kick back rhymes/poems/expressions. I was young and just getting started into Poetry. I'm not sure if this rings a bell. But, we lost touch and I have stopped writing. I notice a void when pages remain blank, so much potentil they posses.

Anyway, I wanted to say hello again and I enjoyed the chats....and rhymes going back and forth we used to share. Thanks for the help and fun. Maybe we will chat again, who knows!

I'm going to this show based on her presence alone! It seems to be a rare thing when someone can fuse political awarness with performance poetry and not come off totally didactic, or worse, cliched and tired.
