Who is Ro Deezy? A world renowned, award-nominated author of six published books. A celebrated spoken word and recording artist who has shared the stage with legends ranging from Nikki Giovanni to The Roots and Dead Prez.. Ro Deezy is an activist and revolutionary whose performances have been solicited by organizations that range from NIKE, The Urban League, The National Coalition against Domestic Violence, Portland State University, Washington State University, Bennett University (NC), Sisters In Action for Power and many more. In July 2005, Ro Deezy received an award from the late Rosa Parks honoring her activism and Ro’s name was added to "The Wall of Tolerance" at the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery, Alabama.
Ro Deezy’s latest masterpiece was released by way of "What Else Did You Think I Would Say? Poems About Politics, Passion, Resistance, and Love". The book is no doubt her most commanding poetical release.
